Server Requirements

The entire SpreadsheetWeb Hub platform can be installed and run on customer servers through on-premise licensing options. All prerequisites other than Microsoft SQL Server will be installed and configured by SpreadsheetWeb Hub Installer package.

Minimum and Recommended Specifications

The minimum system requirements to install and set up SpreadsheetWeb Hub properly are listed below.

  • Windows Server 2019 or above (x64 architecture)
  • IIS 10.0 – Configured by Installer
  • NET Core 6 + Hosting Bundle – Handled by Installer
  • NET Core 6 SDK (for Designer databases) – Handled by Installer
  • RabbitMQ – Handled by Installer
    • Erlang (RabbitMQ dependency) – Handled by Installer
  • Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 x64 – Handled by Installer
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or above.
  • 12GB RAM minimum
    • 16GB RAM or above is recommended.
  • 6 core CPU minimum
    • 8 cores or above is recommended.
    • Add 2 additional cores if SQL Server resides on the same server.
  • Minimum 1GB available hard disk space for the installation.
    • There will be additional space requirements depending on the database allocation, as well as for log files and temporary files. Recommended minimum of 100GB hard disk.

Note: The RAM requirement depends highly on the size of the Excel files that will be handled. Complex Excel files might take 10-20 times more space in memory than the actual file size.
