Multiple Field in Charts

This help pages demonstrates how to use the Multiple Field in designer charts to display several variations of a chart inside one chart area.

1 min read

The Multiple Field allows selecting another data column to create multiple versions of the same chart, with as many variations as the number of unique items in the selected column.

If you select a data column for the Multiple Field, the system will generate a “multiple” of the same chart, filter the data by the column you have selected, and display each version inside the one chart area. This representation can be especially useful for when you want to show relatively simple data in a small area. A trend over time or product names are some of the examples for the data that work well with the Multiple Field.
