Lesson 2 of 10

Legacy platform

DocuSign

Learn how the SpreadsheetWeb Legacy Platform uses its DocuSign connector to send application data into an electronic signature workflow.

1 min read

This lesson introduces the DocuSign connector available in the SpreadsheetWeb Legacy Platform. The connector lets an application pass collected information into an electronic signature process, reducing the need to copy values from a submitted form into a separate agreement. The video demonstrates the relationship between the SpreadsheetWeb application, the connector configuration, and the DocuSign workflow that receives the request.

Use this integration when an application produces information that must be reviewed or signed, such as an approval, authorization, proposal, or customer agreement. Before configuring it, prepare the DocuSign account and template that will receive the data, identify the SpreadsheetWeb fields required by the agreement, and confirm how recipients should be selected. Test the complete process with nonproduction data so you can verify field mapping, recipient details, and the resulting document before enabling it for users.
