How to increase the image quality in PDF documents

Change a SpreadsheetWeb Print Process from standard PDF output to HQ PDF when charts, maps, or embedded images need higher rendering quality.

Use high-quality PDF output when the standard mode makes document images or visualizations look soft.

Select HQ PDF

  1. Open Print in the Designer and edit the required Print Process.
  2. Under Print Mode, select HQ PDF.
  3. Update the Print Process.
  4. Generate the document again.

Compare the new output at normal viewing size and when zoomed in. HQ PDF can produce a larger file, so confirm that the quality improvement is appropriate for the document's delivery method.
