Scored Questionnaire

This lesson shows how an Excel questionnaire with scoring formulas can be published as a web application through the SpreadsheetWeb Legacy Platform. Respondents answer questions in a guided browser interface, and the workbook calculates the score or classification using its existing logic. The source formulas remain protected, while each response follows the same input and validation process.

This pattern can support assessments, qualification forms, risk questionnaires, audits, or any process that converts answers into a calculated outcome. Before conversion, organize the questions, response options, weighting rules, and result formulas so they can be tested independently. Decide whether users should see the score immediately and which answers or results must be saved. Test normal, incomplete, and boundary responses against the original workbook. Also review the wording and accessibility of the form so respondents can understand each question without needing access to the spreadsheet.
