One the second step of account creation, you can choose from 4 options to get started.
The first option will let you select from a list of pre-built converted, designer, or dashboard applications. Clicking launch my application button will take you to the web application, which is uploaded into your trial account.
The converted option will allow you to use your own workbook to create a web application. This method requires downloading the SpreadsheetWEB Excel addin, and define the user interface of your web application from inside your workbook. You can download the add-in by pressing the download button on the second page of the converted option.
The third option will let you upload your workbook and use SpreadsheetWEB’s designer module to create a web application. The designer is a completely web-based drag and drop style builder. When using this option, make sure that all input and output fields you want to include in the ui or save into the database are assigned named ranges before uploading your workbook.
The final option is for advanced users wanting to utilize SpreadsheetWEB’s calculation engine as a web service. In this option, you can upload your workbook that contains the calculation logic, and use API connections to connect it with other tools. Please note that this method also requires assigning named ranges to fields that are to be used as inputs or outputs.
