SpreadsheetWEB Wizard Screen
Naming the web application
Enter a name in the text field called “Worksheet Name”. If you want to use the default settings for other settings, you can click “Next >>” now, to go to the next step. Otherwise, continue below.
Worksheet buttons
To perform calculations and other operations, SpreadsheetWEB has the capability to add buttons to the web application, (such as Calculate) by selecting one of the desired buttons from the “Add New Button” selection.
Standard Button Functionalities
The buttons have following functions:
“Calculate” – Works the user input and delivers output based on the functions included in the web application.
“Reset” – Resets the input cells to default values, which is defined during the conversion process with the Wizard.
“Save” – Saves data to a database; stored data can be viewed in the control panel or downloaded as an Excel compatible file.
“Refresh” – Refreshes the Spreadsheet by recalculating the functions and the formulas, as well as the data coming from the database.
“Back/Next” – Enable these options on pages if there is a worksheet before or after the current worksheet. Add a “Back” or “Next” button, to allow users to shift between pages without using the tab bar.
“Export” – Allows you to export the file as a PDF document or in Excel format.
“Custom” – Allows for custom button creation.
Editing Buttons
SpreadsheetWEB allows editing the label and the position of buttons. Simply double click the name in the Label column to edit the text. Click the icon next to the value under the Cell Link column and select a cell in the worksheet to position the button.
If you do not define button links, they will be placed on the bottom left corner of the web application.
Options
“Enable AJAX Based (Automatic) Calculations” – Activate this option to enable automatic calculations. Pressing the calculate button is no longer required, whereas calculations will be triggered whenever you click outside an input field or move to another one with the TAB key.
